Our Story

In 2015, I asked my mum to make me a teepee for my little boy. It was beautiful and everyone else thought so too. So it wasn’t long before friends and family started asking us to make some for them. That’s when we thought that this could actually become a business. So Mum and I joined forces and created ‘bear hugs and eskimo kisses’ (there were MANY names before that).

Then in the great lockdown of 2020 my children started asking us to make them clothing. Turns out there was a demand for these too!

As a mum and daughter team (and now granddaughter, although she is only 9 months old) we hand make all of our wiggies (as mum calls them!) and produce all clothing, here in the UK . At this point we’ve even roped in the boys to help too - a full on family affair!
